Performance optimisation

Make it fast on the phone your customer is actually holding.

Performance work is not "making things load faster". It is the critical rendering path, the data handling and the moment a visitor can first interact — measured as Core Web Vitals, fixed in the order that pays back, and done without changing how the site looks.

FUEiNT Technologies is a software studio in Coimbatore, India, doing website performance optimisation since 2014 — Core Web Vitals audits, image and code work, caching and CDN strategy, on legacy WordPress sites and complex Next.js applications alike.

What we build

What we actually change.

Five areas, in the order they usually pay. Nothing here is a plugin you could have installed yourself.

Performance audit

A deep-dive analysis of your current metrics, identifying bottlenecks across the network, the server and client-side rendering.

Image and media optimisation

Modern formats — WebP and AVIF — responsive imagery and advanced lazy-loading, so pictures stop being the reason the page waits.

Critical path optimisation

Large JavaScript bundles split, CSS minified, critical assets prioritised, so the first view renders as fast as it possibly can.

Caching and CDN strategy

Advanced caching layers and edge delivery configured so your content comes from the server closest to the user asking for it.

Continuous monitoring

Real-user monitoring and automated testing, so the score stays where we left it instead of decaying with the next content update.

Whatever you are already on

A legacy WordPress site and a complex Next.js application need entirely different fixes. We work on both, and say which yours is after the audit.

How it runs

Measure twice, fix once.

01
Measure first

Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, WebPageTest and Chrome DevTools against your real pages on a real connection — not the homepage on office wifi.

02
Quick wins

Images, caching and the obvious render-blockers, because they cost the least and move the number the most.

03
Architecture

Code splitting, critical CSS and whatever the profile says is left once the easy work has stopped helping.

04
Prove it

Re-measured on the same pages and the same connection, with the before-and-after handed to you in writing.

05
Hold it

Real-user monitoring and automated tests left in place, so a regression is caught by a machine rather than a customer.

What you send us
  • The URLs that matter — usually a landing page, a category page and a checkout.
  • Read access to the hosting and the CDN, when we get past the audit.
  • Whether the design is allowed to change. Usually the answer is no, which is fine.
  • Any deadline you are optimising against, such as a campaign or a sale.

Answers

Questions we are actually asked.

What are Core Web Vitals?

Core Web Vitals are three specific metrics Google uses to measure user experience: LCP for loading speed, INP for responsiveness and CLS for visual stability. Passing them is a requirement for modern SEO, not a bonus.

How long does optimisation take?

A comprehensive performance overhaul typically takes two to four weeks. We start with quick wins — images, caching — and move on to deeper architectural work such as code splitting.

Can you optimise our existing WordPress or Next.js site?

Yes. We specialise in optimising existing platforms. Whether it is a legacy WordPress site or a complex Next.js application, the strategies differ but the method does not.

Will optimisation change how the site looks?

No. The optimisations happen under the hood. The layout and design remain exactly the same; only the delivery becomes faster and smoother.

Will it stay fast after you leave?

That is what the monitoring is for. Real-user monitoring and automated testing are set up as part of the work, so a regression shows up as an alert rather than as a slow month.

Where to next

The work either side of this one.

Send us the URL and the number you are stuck at.

Two things and we can tell you where the time is going. An audit is the first deliverable either way, so nothing is guessed at.
