Analytics & GTM setup

Find out which half of the marketing worked.

GA4 and Google Tag Manager, implemented properly: a measurement plan before a single tag, a data layer that later tags can rely on, every event validated before it goes live, and your team trained to read the reports without calling anyone.

FUEiNT Technologies is a software studio in Coimbatore, India, implementing Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager since 2014 — measurement plans, data layers, custom events, conversion tracking and Looker Studio reporting.

1–2 weeks
For a basic GA4 and GTM setup. Complex implementations with custom e-commerce tracking, multiple data sources or advanced configurations run three to four weeks.
No code changes
GTM is a container for every marketing tag, so adding, updating or removing one later needs no developer and no deployment.
Validated
Every event and conversion is checked in GTM Preview mode and GA4 DebugView before it goes live — wrong data is worse than none.
No slowdown
Asynchronous loading and tuned tag-firing rules, so measurement does not become the thing that hurts your page speed.
What we build

What we actually build.

Installing a tag takes ten minutes. The rest of this is what makes the numbers mean something afterwards.

A measurement plan, first

We review your current tracking, if any, and define the key events, conversions and custom dimensions your business actually needs — before anything is installed.

GTM and the data layer

Google Tag Manager installed and the data layer configured. This is the flexible foundation every other tag then sits on, rather than a script pasted into a theme.

GA4 configured properly

Your GA4 property set up with proper data streams, enhanced measurement, custom events and conversion tracking — all through GTM, so it stays changeable.

Testing and validation

Every event and conversion validated in GTM Preview mode and GA4 DebugView before launch, because a dashboard full of wrong numbers costs more than an empty one.

Launch and training

Tracking deployed to production, then training on GA4 reports, building custom dashboards, and interpreting what you are looking at.

The rest of the stack

Looker Studio, Search Console, Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar, where they show something the analytics alone cannot.

How it runs

Our implementation process.

01
Initial setup and audit

We review your current tracking setup, if any, and create a comprehensive measurement plan — the key events, conversions and custom dimensions your business needs.

02
GTM implementation

Google Tag Manager installed on your site and the data layer configured, giving you a flexible foundation for managing all marketing tags without touching code.

03
GA4 configuration

Your GA4 property set up with proper data streams, enhanced measurement, custom events and conversion tracking, all configured through GTM for maximum flexibility.

04
Testing and validation

All tracking tested using GTM Preview mode and GA4 DebugView to make sure the data is accurate. Every event and conversion is validated before going live.

05
Launch and training

We deploy the tracking to production and train your team on GA4 reports, custom dashboards and how to interpret the data.

What you send us
  • Admin access to your Google Analytics and Tag Manager accounts, or permission to create them.
  • The decisions you want the data to settle. That list is the measurement plan.
  • Your site or app, and a staging environment if one exists.
  • Every other tag currently on the site — ads pixels included, especially the ones nobody remembers adding.

Answers

Questions we are actually asked.

Why do we need Google Tag Manager if we already have GA4?

GTM acts as a container for all your marketing tags — GA4, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight and the rest. It lets you add, update or remove tags without modifying your website code, which gives you flexibility and removes the dependency on a developer for every change.

How long does implementation take?

A basic GA4 and GTM setup typically takes one to two weeks. More complex implementations with custom e-commerce tracking, multiple data sources or advanced configurations can take three to four weeks.

Will this slow down our website?

No. Implemented correctly, GTM and GA4 have minimal impact on page speed. We use asynchronous loading and optimise tag-firing rules to keep performance where it was.

Can you migrate our Universal Analytics data to GA4?

GA4 is a completely different platform, so historical data cannot be directly migrated. What we can do is set GA4 up alongside your existing setup and help you export the historical data for reference.

What is GA4, in one paragraph?

GA4 is Google’s current analytics platform, built for a privacy-first world. Unlike Universal Analytics it uses an event-based model, which gives more flexibility and deeper insight into user behaviour — and, combined with Tag Manager, a tracking infrastructure that adapts without constant developer involvement.

Where to next

The work either side of this one.

Tell us the decision your data cannot settle.

That is the measurement plan, in one sentence. Everything else — the tags, the events, the dashboards — follows from it.
