College collaborations

Put a working software company inside your syllabus.

FUEiNT has been teaching in Tamil Nadu's engineering colleges since 2014 — it is how the company started, with free guest lectures on open source. A collaboration formalises that: our senior engineers teach the stacks they ship on, and your students leave with work they can show.

See what we offer

Written for the three people who sign this off

Placement officersImprove student hireability and placement records with industry-aligned training modules.
Deans and HODsClose the gap between curriculum and industry demand by bringing modern stacks into coursework.
Campus directorsStrengthen ranking and accreditation scores through industry partnerships that leave evidence behind.

Why college-industry collaboration matters

01
The skills gap is widening
Academic curriculum lags behind the pace of industry innovation, and graduates arrive underprepared for the first month of work.
02
Employers want practical experience
Hiring teams read portfolios and project work before they read grades. A student with something they built has a different conversation.
03
Accreditation mandates it
Regulatory bodies increasingly count industry partnership as a ranking metric, so the linkage has to be real and documented.

What we offer institutions

Four programmes, run alone or together, designed to lift the whole student body rather than a top ten.

Student internshipsInternship projects with job assistance for final-year students, run online so distance is not a barrier.
Industry-led skill trainingWorkshops and incubation sessions led by senior engineers, on data, cloud and the stacks we actually ship.
Mentorship and executionFrom walking students through project execution to preparing them for the interview rounds that follow.
Career readiness supportMock interviews, resume building sessions and the soft-skills work that decides half of a placement.

A win on both sides of the desk

For colleges
  • Improved placement records.
  • Support for NAAC and NBA accreditation criteria.
  • Access to a network of corporate partners.
  • Jointly developed programmes and labs.
For students
  • Real project experience for a portfolio.
  • Industry-recognised certification.
  • Direct mentorship from the people who do the hiring.
  • A stronger position when the offers are made.

Three ways to engage

Flexible enough to fit an academic calendar, which is usually the thing that decides what is possible.

Workshop based
Short-term engagement
  • Two to five day intensive bootcamps
  • Specific stacks — MERN, cloud and others
  • Certificate of participation
Long-term MOU
Semester-long partnership
  • Integrated credit courses
  • Weekly industry mentorship
  • Supported projects
  • Placement assistance
Project sponsor
Focused on practical output
  • Hackathon organisation
  • Final-year project guidance
  • Industry-evaluated vivas

How it works

01
Connect
An initial conversation to understand the institution’s needs and the current state of the curriculum.
02
Customise
We design a module curriculum that fits both the academic calendar and what industry is actually asking for.
03
Launch
Schedules, student enrolment, and the first workshops on campus or online.
04
Success
Execution, certification, and placement support for the students who complete it.

Students can also come to us directly through the career growth programme — useful for a cohort that wants to start before a formal MOU is in place.

Questions institutions ask

What is the duration of the collaboration?

It depends on the model. Workshop-based collaborations run for two to five days, while a long-term MOU typically lasts an academic semester or a full year.

Do you provide trainers, or does our faculty teach?

For industry-specific modules our senior engineers handle the training. We can also run Faculty Development Programmes to upskill your own staff so the capability stays on campus.

Is this only for engineering colleges?

Primarily, but not exclusively. We have modules for arts and science colleges offering Computer Science, BCA or Data Science degrees.

How does a collaboration help with accreditation?

It produces evidence: documented industry linkage, student internship records and placement data points, all of which feed NAAC and NBA scoring criteria.

Where is FUEiNT based, and can you come to our campus?

We are in Saravanampatti, Coimbatore. Sessions run on campus or online depending on the model and the distance — the internship track is designed to run online.

Bring your students a company, not a slide deck.

Tell us the department, the year group and the semester you have room in. A senior engineer will come back with what would actually fit.
